Hi! My name is Karlin, and I am a piano teacher based in the Point Loma area of San Diego, California.

I've been teaching piano for almost 10 years now and I absolutely LOVE it!

I believe music has the power to change lives, and I enjoy being able to show my students of all ages the joy of making music.

I am a Classically trained pianist, but I enjoy implementing all types of music into my lessons to create well-rounded musicians. And of course, my lessons have an element of fun! We play games, compose, improvise, and more to ensure students are gaining a quality music education that they enjoy.

My teaching philosophy is student-centric. Because each student is unique, I approach lessons based on their individual needs and goals. I encourage with patience, and get really excited every time even a small amount of progress is made!

I also love playing the piano! Below is a short video of me performing in my Masters Degree Recital.
